During the winter season, there are lots of fun activities Idaho has to offer.

If you don’t mind a taste of the snowy outdoors, ice skating at Indian creek plaza’s ribbon and rink in Caldwell is a fun activity you can spend with friends and family.

Another local activity is located at Eagle Island state park. While in the summer you can go to have fun swimming in the lake and playing on the beach, eagle island opens for sledding and tubing during the winter.

Another place you can go tubing is at Bogus Basin. You can ski and snowboard on trails down the mountain. Trails are offered for beginners, intermediates, and experts. Bogus basin also offers lessons for skiing and snowboarding as well.

The McCall winter carnival is another fun and enjoyable activity you can spend with friends and family. With ten full days of Mardi Gras parades, snow bikes, and dog pull races, the McCall winter carnival definitely deserves a spot on this list of winter break activities!

If you enjoy staying warm indoors, try the Rollerdrome, an indoor roller rink in Nampa where you can break a sweat without being cold. Or you can even grab a cup of hot coco and go to your nearest escape room, like the Labyrinth Escape Games. This small business located in Nampa, has all different kinds of rooms. From Christmas themed, to spooky rooms, from beginner to expert, these escape rooms are fun for the whole family.

With a plethora of outdoor and indoor of activities, there is bound to be something for everyone.
